my new man...

I have a sweet new man in my life, a younger man, with big soft brown eyes, a nice warm cuddle and a quiet disposition, a perfect new man(sorry dear!!)!!!  His name is Bernard, and he is a schnauzer mix, about 10 years old, and he had been in need of a permanent, good home, and has found it with us.  So far he has settled in nicely, and is getting along well with Cricket and is tolerating Tinkerbell, has found friends in the kiddos and is a super cuddly bugger on the couch, so he is a keeper:-)
We had been missing our old dog Dakota, and Cricket has been lonely, so we have been cautiously looking for a new dog, a small dog, but have not met with much success, until recently.  Someone Jon works with had her grandmother's dog, and he needed a permanent home, so Jon offered to try it out and bring him home.  His first name was Radar, but it does not really fit him, so we have been trying out a few new ones, and settled on Bernard.  He is the mouse with Miss Bianca in "Rescuers Down Under", a prim, studious little guy, very proper and gentlemanly, fitting this little dog to a tee:-)  It also keeps with our theme of Disney characters for pets, so Bernard it is.  Meet Bernard our newest family member:
