A big WooHoo!!!

So, the big woohoo is that G is all done with neurology, forever, barring any accidents involving his head.  This is HUGE, since I was not sure we would ever not be visiting every 6-8 months, so YAY!!!!!!!
Our neuro is wonderful , a very nice and interesting doctor, she really took the tiem to explain to us what was going on in little mans head, and broke it down for us, always willing to explain and clarify for me.  She never made me feel stupid for not understanding how the super highway in G's brain had a pile up, and the traffic had to reroute around the accident, and how this worked, also what I needed to do to make this process smoother.  She was a godsend, really wonderful, but she was also the first person to throw the words Cerebral Palsy at us, and that was hard to take.  I will never forget that moment, and those images, fully explained, on a CT image, terrifying moment for an unprepared mommy.  To have this wonderful woman finally tell us that there was nothing else she needed to see little man for, that the tests may never find the root of his CP, but that he did not appear at risk for further strokes is wonderful.  She gave me the speech about needing to see him for any head injuries, or excessively high fevers, but otherwise we are DONE,

So, from frail and incapable little baby, to noisy and boisterous little boy, we have many thanks and much appreciation for our neurologist, but are glad we will not be seeing her again in a professional capacity, YAY!!!!!!!
