Time flies, fun or not!!!

Yipes, how did that much time pass between posts!!????? How does time fly when I am trying to make it sop, or at least slow down. I have so much to do, and feel like I get nothing done, at a faster, and faster rate every day, and it is making me nuts! Last weekend was a prime example, we had to deliver a car to Jon's aunt, they purchased it from us, then drop off my mother in laws birthday gift, then go to a play date with our ET adoptee friends at a playground 30 minutes away. Add in Gabe throwing massive fits, and refusing to cooperate or listen, Amelia's hair in a full brush out(that takes time to achieve people), showers for all children, and household chores, and you have one very wound mommy. The tantrums continued after we left the Mil's house, so we skipped the play date altogether, very sad about that, but necessary. Instead we went home and spent the rest of the day in the gardens, trying to regain a foothold against the overthrow of weeds! G got to spend most of his day in his room, lucky boy, but the girls were helpful and carried weeds, spread mulch and were just general good helpers, thankfully. It made for a strange up and down day, and Sunday continued in the same vein, good parts, and bad, almost equal, except the bad parts had more volume(G again here too!).

Now it is Tuesday, and I have only a few days to finish tidying up the gardens before a BBQ, and friends come over, and the house may remain a bit untidy(sorry to all the friends), but on the upside, the kids have been working to clean their playhouse, they even got out a huge tub and washed everything not nailed down in it too, so that is good!!:-) Ah well, sometimes life just rushes by, and is counted in days instead of hours, those are the times I really need to reach out and grab onto the speeding hours, and force them, and myself, to stop, and relax, and enjoy the moments, fleeting as they are.
