Well, we have had a busy week again, I hope to become accustomed to this new schedule. lots of new things going on though;
Julianna has now learned to swim really well, and even jumped off the edge of the pool to her instructor and went all the way under without freaking out!! I am so proud of her, she will now put her face in the water and blow bubbles, she thinks that blowing bubbles with her nose is the funniest!! I think swim lessons have also helped her to become more confident, she is now more self assured and confident with people she doesn't know well. She will speak to them without prompting and talk to them on her own about her interests.
Julianna has also done a very girly thing, last week she cut her own hair. Jon called me in a bit of a panic, all aggravated, and said that she had her scissors for only a few minutes in her room by herself, and then he found that she had spiced up her newly styled hair with a quick trim in the front, a very crooked trim at that. So now Julianna has to live with her slightly crooked haircut until it grows out.
Julianna is also doing very well with her homeschooling, she helped to make thank you cards for everyone for coming and helping out with our fundraiser. Julianna drew pictures on the cards, then wrote thank you on them too, she did a great job, we are very proud of her and her creativity!!
Now we are on to Halloween, Julianna will be Hannah Montana, and she is very excited about her costume, and I will dress as Lola, and daddy as Bobby Ray, so this should be fun, and funny!!! Julianna went to a dress up party with Grammy on Saturday, and wore her wig the whole time, even bouncing in the ball house, so it has been well tested, and the costume stood up to the test, so this is good, we are ready!
