Good bye to 2 dear friends...God bless them

This Month has been a tough month for our family as we had to say goodbye to 2 dear friends. The first was Leo Massey passed away on May 10 2007, He was a family friend and one of my fathers best friends Leo was stricken with cancer and was told by the doctors that he only had a few months to live and by his strength and Gods will he was able to bless us all with 14 months of life That may not seem like much on the grand view of things but it is a whole year longer than expected, as I watched the 70 pulse car funeral precession go by the front of the store I could see how many people he has touched in his life he was a good man who helped out so many people in his life and is now at peace and resting with God may he rest in peace among the angles were he belongs God bless You Leo and we all miss you. thank you for all you have taught us and for every thing you have been to us "uncle Leo"...
The the other Person we lost was one of Jamie's old boss and close friend Cindy Macarchuk, whom had hired Jamie 11 years ago to watch her two children Jen and Lexi. Cindy was the type of woman who did it all first of all Cindy was a great loving and caring mother who wanted the best for her girls and provided it for them ( after all that is why she hired Jamie), she started as Jamie's boss but some turned into a valued friend whom we respected greatly. In the brief time she touch our lives she gifted upon much joy and friendship. Jamie was able to be their for Cindy and her girls during their life watching the girls grow from children into beautiful and wonderful women just like their mom.Cindy was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago but as anyone who new her new she was a fighter, she fought and won many battles with her cancer but unfortunately It took her on May 15 2007 . God Bless you Cindy and thank you for Just being you and entering our lives.
Both Leo and Cindy were close friends and will be sourly missed they both leave behind not only family but many many dear friends. As the years keep going bye I have noticed that even the worst of worst days that we have on this earth, must still be a good day because we are still alive to complain about it. I am sure that most people whom are taken from us to early in live would go through years of our crappy days just to be able to come home and complain about it to their loved ones husbands, wife's,children, Friends or family, and I am sure that their families would gladly endure all the complaining just to be with them. so as the years fly by and the days go by faster and faster please take the time to thank God not only for the good in your life but also the bad for either way we are still here to enjoy it. and while you are at please thank God for all your friends and Family because not only does God watch over our lives he also watches over us when we head to heaven. Diamond Rio has a song "God only cries" and the course is as follows and in the case of this past couple of weeks I think it sums up a lot of things.
God only cries for the living
'Cause it's the living that are left to carry on
An' all the angels up in Heaven
They're not grieving because they're gone
There's a smile on their faces
'Cause they're in a better place than, mmm, baby, than, oh
God only cries for the living
'Cause it's the living that are so far from home.
Thank you all for continuing to check up on us and reading our blog God bless Jon
