a great $12 day!!!

Today we had a super fun day of field trips for school. We were invited to Uno's pizza, where the kids got to make their own pizzas, then have them baked, and after a fun tour of the fridge and double walk in freezer(I want one of those to cut down on grocery trips:-) the kids got to eat their own creations, all before 10:30 am, yummy!!!

After the pizza trip we headed off to the park and playground, it was a gorgeous sunny day and we wanted to take advantage. With hats and mittens the park was great, until little man had to use the bathroom, with none in sight... back into the car and off to find a potty, 30 minutes later we returned to the park to have a nice nature walk and science class on the different types of trees in the park area(thanks mom and dad for the nature hikes, I am not half bad:-). More play, then off to get K from school and drop off at home, then time for a bit of down time for all, I was whupped, and desperately needed some sitting with a cup of coffee, but over all a great day, and now the girls will get a quick English class when they write up their thoughts on the pizza shop trip, not bad for a $12 day;-)
