A boxer he ain't!!

Poor Gabe, a boxer he ain't!! He looks like he went a few rounds with George Foreman, as the speed bag!! After coming in from playing in the first snow the other day(will post pics of it later), Gabe in his typical fashion turned to walk into the kitchen, without turning his head to look where he was going!! He stomped on Dakota's foot, and in trying to get away from the heavy footed little man the dog accidentally raked G with his lower canine, right above the eye!! It was a total accident, and a huge bloody mess, for a while I could not figure out where the cuts were since there was too much blood and boogies!!! Once I determined the place and size, a gouge, and a possible broken nose, we made quick work of dressing and headed off to the emergency room for some stitches. Oh what fun, poor little guy, he was a mess, and so clingy, he hated every minute of the doctor poking and prodding, and we were there for over 3 hours, what a morning!! So now we have stitches and a huge nose(not broken) and a very swollen eye!! We have renamed him Pongo due to the black dot forming around his eye and across his nose, he is finally losing the swelling on his forehead and under his eye, so he can open the left eye again, but managed to untie one of the stitches already, GGGRRR!!!
Seriously, Julianna made one emergency room visit, and that was for a 104 temp. in 6 years, and G has been home just 6 months and has already needed stitches, on an emergency visit, YIKES!!!! Sadly I am certain that this will not be the last visit for little G to the emergency room, he is a walking accident, one who does not ever bother to look where he is going, only where he has been!!! Silly little man! The picture was taken a few days after the event, and you can still see how swollen his face is, it was worse Sunday, he looked like he had the caveman browridge and no nose, just a long lump from cheek to cheek, pretty right!!!
