Trip of a Life time Day 4 and 5 Sunday and Monday

Well the day started early real early I was up at 4 am to get ready for our trip south to hosanna, that left at 5am. We met our driver and piled into the Land Rover and headed off, our driver was a very nice young woman about mid-20s she was very helpful in explaining about the different towns and city's we drove through and even about some of the culture and habits of the Ethiopian people. The trip took us over mountains and lasted about 4 hours the views were amazing. When we arrived at the Hosanna care center we where shown to a waiting room and the escorted to a small meeting room where we meet Meshelc Mia Bertu's and Gabe's Mom. I was ok up until this point them the nerves hit hard I was about I was about to meet the woman whom have given birth and raised my new children. When we finally met Meshelc I saw that she was a very beautiful and strong woman whom had and still very much so loves her children, I prefer to keep the meeting private until we can share it with the children when they are older. After the meeting we stepped out side for pictures with Meshelc and then went to the exchanging of parents ceremony where the parents would say a prayer and the they lit a candle and passed it to us as if they where passing responsibility of the children to us.The parents left after the echcange of prayer and candles and headed back on there long jury home. The staff treated us to an official Ethiopian Coffee ceromony beforwe taking us on a tour of the Hosanna care center where children come before they go to the Chsfs care center. All of the land is konjo no~ (Amharic for its beautiful) we made it home around 3pm for a little nap time or for me a little basketball time. the other family here Karl and Agot( uncle)ED really great people KArl and his brother Ed Jamie Julie Julianna and I walked past the goats "vet's" corner to a really great Pizza place Metro Pizza for dinner.

Monday.
We picked up the kids and brought them back to the guess house for play and lunch the girls played all morning and Gabe loves bubbles he does have quite the temper though. all and all we made through the have day trial with 3 live Ethiopian children that still were in one pice Asphow,Mia Birtu and Gabe. After we droped off the children we went on a tour of the school for the children grade 0-5 right now they are in process of building a 7000 seat stadium for basketball and football(soccer) along with Music they plan on renting it out to help keep the school cost down. The school only cost 1000.00 us dollars a year per a child they have about 50 children this year and they are hoping to triple that next year. they have music reading and writing in English along with computer skills prayer and math gym. they plan on adding one grade a year until they have 5-12 grade school. After the school tour we hit the museum where they have Lucy the oldest hominid in existence. then it was on to more shopping.......and then the back to the Guest house.
