Whew, we have finally told most everyone in the family that we have a referral, and I have finally calmed down a bit and can do things without leaping around manically whooping, so life is back to a new normal. Not everyone had the reaction we were hoping for, so were very "oh yeah that is nice" about it, but my mother in law and father in law were some of the best reactions to see! We stopped by. and it was late, 8p or so, so we walked in and my MIL came out of the living room with this puzzled look on her face, and Julianna said hi and we just stood there, then I held out this sheet of paper and said"We are here to introduce to you your new babies." Patti looked at the sheet, very puzzled and not sure what I was saying, and looked back at us, then you could actually see the light of what I had said dawn, and her whole face lit up right before she squealed and gave a little leap, and hugged all three of us at once!! It was so funny to see and so very sweet, and my father in law looked at their pics and nodded, and got this sweet little smile on his face, very similar to the one he has in pics of first holding Julianna, and he was a bit choked up but said they were very cute and sweet kids. These two were the funniest to tell and my poor MIL was so very upset that Jon had kept this from her for a week, because just the day before she had asked if we were considering changing our request to a younger single child, and Jon just calmly told her "no, we are keeping the age range and sibling request we have", he never gave away anything to her that we were waiting on pins and needles for our Pediatrician to have a consult with us.
But now it is out there for all to know(except Karen, who will find out today, and will have a squealing and crying reaction like Patti!!:) ) So Karen can comment here tomorrow about how she reacted!!
